Your stay in Tuscany is not complete without a day in Chianti. The hills are famous for its scenic beauty, colors, ordered countryside, the medieval villages, churches and of course the wine cellars where you can taste some of the wines are known throughout the world.

These are the most important highlights of our tour:
- Greve is the capital of florentine Chianti, in its splendid square surrounded on three sides by a loggia was, since the Middle Ages as the principal market of the zone. The shops sell antique furniture, copper pots and pans, food and of course the local wine. It will be possible to visit the ancient wine cellars dug directly into the rock in the basement where oil, cheese and salami are kept at perfect temperature. In the middle of the square we find the statue of the famous explorer Giovanni da Verrazzano, whose family comes from this area, who at the service of Francis I of France explored most of the Eastern coast of the United States.
- From Greve we’ll head to Panzano and visit the wonderful church of San Leolino . Afterwards, through scenic routes we’ll stop for lunch at a restaurant near an ancient Abbey, where you will enjoy authentic and genuine Tuscan cuisine in front of a beautiful landscape.
- After our lunch we’ll head towards a Castle with more than 400 years of history, which hosted, amongst others, Leonardo da Vinci . Surrounded by a beautiful garden and richly decorated with frescoes. The cellar is a fascinating maze of barrels and casks containing wines, vin santo and olive oil. The tasting of these products will be an unforgettable experience!
