We’ll visit the district of the Medici family: their first residence the Palazzo Medici, the family church San Lorenzo and the Mausoleum of the Medici Chapels.

These are the most important highlights of our tour:
- Palazzo Medici Riccardi, the first florentine Renaissance palace and the first residence of the Medici Family. We’ll visit the beautiful courtyard and garden, the chapel with the amazing Cavalcade of the Magi by Benozzo Gozzoli and the Hall of Mirrors.
- The Basilica of San Lorenzo, the oldest church in Firenze, which became, during the XVth century, the family church of the Medici, it can be considered as the architectural manifesto of the Renaissance and of Brunelleschi, enriched by the works of Donatello, Verrocchio and Bronzino.
- The Cloister and the Laurentian Library by Michelangelo.
- The Medici Chapels: the mausoleum of the Medici, sumptuously decorated with semi precious stones and colored marble inlays and the Sacrestia Nuova entirely conceived and decorated by Michelangelo at the height of his artistic splendor.
